The World of Nature as Seen by the Children contest of children’s paintings was arranged by Transneft UW Service employees at the Boarding School for Deaf Children patronised by the company.

The event was aimed to raise the environmental awareness of the younger generation and draw attention to the nature preservation issues. All members of the boarding school participated in the contest.

While creating their works the children studied the topic of caring attitude toward nature, viewed the environmental pollution problems, obtained an overview of ecology and the surrounding world. In their works the children used various materials, created 3D compositions, employed multilayer fabric, paper and thread application techniques.

The patrons presented to children the painting aids and sweets for active involvement in the contest.

The event took place in the scope of the Year of the Environment declared in 2017.
