Date of publication: 18 October 2019

Yaroslavl Shipyard has held a ceremony on launching the Semdesyat Pyat Let Pobedy (“75 Years of Victory”) diving support vessel built for Transneft UW Service.

The name “75 Years of Victory” was assigned to the vessel in honor of the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will be celebrated in 2020.

The main purpose of the vessel is to work at underwater crossings of oil trunk pipelines on the territory of the Russian Federation to support diving. The uniqueness of the new ship is that it can provide comfortable conditions on board for 3 crew members and up to 5 people of special personnel despite the small overall dimensions and shallow draft. The "O" 2.0 (ice 10) class of the vessel allows it to work in difficult navigational conditions and to be operated in brash ice.

After completing mooring trials, sea trials and acceptance of the vessel by the customer, the 75 Years of Victory diving support vessel will perform works at the water area of the Volga and Kama basins starting in the spring of 2020
